Notes for 06/03/2020

WE NEED TO MAP THE PROJECT OUT!!!!

Get Glenn to actually come in and write it up. Removes confusion if he actually works with us to create the user journey.

Make a list for who we need to contact etc. Send to Juan!

Start to map out today! We need to get Glenn to actually do it.

I need to map out the character but need to speak with Glenn about this as I currently don’t know how he fits into the game on a whole.

So, today we knew that Glenn and Emily were not going to be in, however Jo wasn’t either, which meant that it was only Sophie and me. Since it was just us two there was not much that we could really work out for the project, and from talking it seems we both are confused as to what we need to do and how the project comes together on a whole. This is mainly an issue that is linked with Glenn, I think that Glenn is really talented at 3D design, however it is quite difficult to work with him in a group. This is because he does not seem to know exactly what he is going to be doing, which means that we are all left confused as well. Especially when we ask him, and he does not answer us.

It also seems like he is unwilling to talk to us or plan out the project at all. He comes off as quite stand offish when we talk to him online, and he does not seem to like planning anything and tries to leave it to us ‘girls’ as he has put it. This means however that we have not mapped out how the whole project is going together and means that we find it difficult to do any work as it is unclear what we need to do or how it is going to function.

Another problem that I personally have with the project is Emily’s interactive timeline, this is because it feels like it is not a fully bulked up idea, and it is going to look bad compared to the rest of the pieces we make. I understand that she wanted to make it and that’s why it was chosen, but it does not seem to fit with everything else and does not look up to par with the things that we are making. I reckon that she could make it really good and prove me wrong, but it does not look like that is going to be happening.

Final reflection

I think that in the first semester I really enjoyed this brief and was very excited to do work for it. However, because I was excited to do...
